HerSets is operated by OLROM LLC, a California limited liability company ("HerSets," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the HerSets app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, and password when you create a HerSets account (or profile data from Apple/Google Sign-In if you use those options).
• Photos and content: images you upload of outfits, closet items, or style boards, along with any captions, tags, or notes you add.
• Communications: messages you send us through support requests or feedback forms.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage data: features used, screens viewed, items saved or shared, and general in-app activity.
• Device data: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs.
• Approximate location (if enabled), inferred from your IP address or device settings, to personalize content such as weather-based style suggestions.

1.3 SMS and phone number information

If you choose to use HerSets' appointment reminder feature, you may provide your clients' mobile phone numbers within the app to send them SMS appointment reminders. In connection with this feature, we collect:

• Your phone number (as the HerSets account holder), if you opt in to receive SMS notifications about your own account.
• Your clients' phone numbers, entered by you within the app for the sole purpose of sending appointment reminder messages on your behalf.
• Consent records — the date, time, and method by which SMS consent was collected, as required by applicable law.
• SMS delivery data — message delivery status and opt-out records (e.g., when a recipient replies STOP).

Client phone numbers you enter are used exclusively to send appointment reminders you initiate and are never used for marketing purposes, sold to third parties, or shared with any party other than our SMS delivery provider (Infobip) for the purpose of delivering those messages.

1.4 Payment information

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. HerSets does not receive or store your full payment card details — we only receive confirmation of purchase, subscription status, and transaction identifiers from Apple/Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and provide core app features (client notes, service records, booking management).
• To send appointment reminder SMS messages to your clients on your behalf, when you initiate them through the app.
• To personalize your experience based on your saved client data and preferences.
• To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
• To communicate with you about updates, support requests, and — if you opt in — product news.
• To monitor, troubleshoot, and improve app performance and security.
• To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

3. SMS Appointment Reminders

3.1 How SMS consent works

HerSets enables beauty artists to send SMS appointment reminders to their clients. Before any SMS is sent to a client, the artist (HerSets account holder) is responsible for obtaining the client's prior express written consent to receive text messages. HerSets provides in-app tools to record that consent. By using the SMS feature, you represent that each recipient has opted in to receive appointment reminder messages from you.

3.2 Message types and frequency

• Message type: Transactional appointment reminders only (e.g., "Reminder: your appointment with [Artist Name] is tomorrow at 2:00 PM").
• Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on the number of appointments scheduled. Typically 1–2 messages per appointment (e.g., 24-hour and 1-hour reminders).
• HerSets does not send unsolicited marketing SMS messages to end clients.

3.3 How to opt out

Any client who receives an SMS reminder can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, that phone number will not receive further SMS messages sent through HerSets. To get help, reply HELP. Opting out does not affect any other aspect of the client's relationship with the beauty artist.

3.4 SMS provider

HerSets uses Infobip as its SMS delivery provider. When you use the SMS reminder feature, client phone numbers are transmitted to Infobip solely for message delivery. Infobip processes this data under its own privacy policy and data processing agreements. Phone numbers are not retained by Infobip beyond what is necessary for delivery and opt-out management.

3.5 Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages received by your clients, depending on their mobile carrier and plan. HerSets is not responsible for any charges a recipient incurs from their carrier.

3.6 Carrier liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages depends on carrier network availability and is not guaranteed.

4. Photos You Upload

Photos you upload are stored securely and used solely to power the features you use them for (e.g., client service records, before/after photos). We do not sell your photos or use them to train third-party advertising models without your consent.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Infobip — our SMS delivery provider, which receives client phone numbers solely to deliver appointment reminder messages you initiate. Infobip does not use these numbers for any other purpose.
• Other service providers who host data, process payments, or provide analytics on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
• Apple / Google for purchase processing and app distribution.
• Legal or safety purposes, if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HerSets, our users, or the public.
• A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the app's features. SMS opt-out records (STOP responses) are retained indefinitely to honor opt-out requests and comply with applicable law. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information as described in our Account Deletion Policy, subject to limited retention where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your Rights and Choices

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

HerSets is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@hersets.com and we will delete it.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Infobip, our SMS provider, operates globally; data transmitted for SMS delivery may be processed in Infobip's infrastructure. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes in-app or by email, and update the "Last updated" date above.
