HerSets ("HerSets," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the HerSets app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1.1 Information you provide

Account information: name, email address, and password when you create a HerSets account (or profile data from Apple/Google Sign-In if you use those options).
Photos and content: images you upload of outfits, closet items, or style boards, along with any captions, tags, or notes you add.
Communications: messages you send us through support requests or feedback forms.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Usage data: features used, screens viewed, items saved or shared, and general in-app activity.
Device data: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs.
Approximate location (if enabled), inferred from your IP address or device settings, to personalize content such as weather-based style suggestions.

1.3 Payment information

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. HerSets does not receive or store your full payment card details — we only receive confirmation of purchase, subscription status, and transaction identifiers from Apple/Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account and provide core app features (closet organization, outfit recommendations, sharing).
To personalize your experience, including style suggestions based on your saved items and preferences.
To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
To communicate with you about updates, support requests, and — if you opt in — product news.
To monitor, troubleshoot, and improve app performance and security.
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

3. Photos You Upload

Photos you upload are stored securely and used to power the features you use them for (e.g., digital closet, outfit boards). You control whether photos are private or shared publicly within the app. We do not sell your photos or use them to train third-party advertising models without your consent.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

Service providers who host data, process payments, send notifications, or provide analytics on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
Apple / Google for purchase processing and app distribution.
Other users, limited to content you choose to make public or share (e.g., a public outfit post or profile).
Legal or safety purposes, if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HerSets, our users, or the public.
A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the app's features. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information as described in our Account Deletion Policy, subject to limited retention where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

If you are located in the EEA, UK, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

HerSets is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@hersets.com and we will delete it.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes in-app or by email, and update the "Last updated" date above.
