HerSets — Account Deletion Policy

You can delete your HerSets account and data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your information afterward.

1. How to Delete Your Account

Option A — In the app

Open HerSets and go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Account, then Delete Account.
Confirm your choice when prompted. You may be asked to re-enter your password.
Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option B — By email

If you can't access the app, email support@hersets.com from the address linked to your account with the subject line "Delete My Account." We'll verify your identity and process the request.

2. What Gets Deleted

Data	What happens
Profile info (name, email, password)	Permanently deleted
Uploaded photos and closet content	Permanently deleted
Saved outfits, boards, preferences	Permanently deleted
Public posts or comments visible to other users	Removed from public view; may persist briefly in backups
Purchase/subscription records	Retained as required for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes
Support correspondence	Retained for a limited period for quality and legal purposes

3. Timeline

Your account and app access are deactivated immediately upon request.
Personal data is deleted from active systems within 30 days.
Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days as part of routine backup rotation.

4. Subscriptions

Deleting your HerSets account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel separately through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings to avoid future charges.

5. Changed Your Mind?

Once deletion is processed, we can't recover your account or content. If you contact us within a short grace period before processing completes, we may be able to restore it — reach out right away at support@hersets.com.
